I had the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor's office! I had a 340 appointment. I saw the triage nurse and they continued to leave me in the room until 4:40 when I decided to walk out and see what was going on. The office was empty they left me in the doctor's room waiting to be seen and closed the office! I have never seen anything like this in my life and I'm 43 years old. Worst experience I've ever had with a doctor! The doctor's name was Dr lakin. I was going to wait to write a review until I cooled off but I figured people need to hear this. Great dental experience from the doctor and assistants/hygienists! I’m very uncomfortable at the dentist but here it was amazing. Only complaint is that every time I call to get transferred to the dental department there is no answer, just sent to voicemail multiple times. I’ve given up on calling to schedule appt’s and just started going in to schedule them which is great, but inconvenient. Other than that a great place with nice staff.

I was advised that the Neighborhood Health Association (NHA) offers dental services on a sliding fee scale. I first telephoned Nexus Dental on October 8, 2025 at 3:03 pm and was told that the cost of the initial appointment was $35. At this time, an application is completed and submitted to their billing department. A sliding-scale fee is then determined for future appointments. I telephoned again on October 9, 2025 at 10:57 am and spoke to Keisha who completed the new patient intake, scheduled a limited appointment for Monday, October 20 at 11:15 am, and confirmed that the first appointment would cost $35. On October 20, I arrived early, completed an application for a sliding scale fee, and provided my current driver license and most recent pension statement showing my total monthly income. At the conclusion of my visit which did NOT resolve my toothache, I paid the required $35. fee. Today, November 22, I received a bill for an additional $129. due TODAY. There is no postmark, and while the statement is dated November 7, I am very doubtful that it was mailed two weeks ago.

I just wanted to share how amazing my first dentist appointment was. I went in for a cleaning and Ms. V, the dental hygienist was so kind and welcoming. I have not been to the dentist in years so I really appreciate how smooth she made everything. Thanks a lot Sincerely, Malachi
